Sharing the gospel and our lives with the military community

Travis Hospitality House, Travis AFB

Travis Hospitality House
4534 Solano Rd
Fairfield, CA  94533-6609

Travis Air Force Base is located in Fairfield, CA, between San Francisco and Sacramento.  The workforce consists of approximately 7400 Air Force personnel and 3700 civilians.  In addition, there are also 3300 Air Force Reserve personnel stationed at Travis.

Travis Air Force Base is home to the largest Air Mobility organization in the Air Force and is the home of the C5 Galaxy and C17 Globemaster Cargo aircraft, and the KC10 Extendor refueling aircraft.

The David-Grant Hospital is also located on Travis Air Force Base and is the largest USAF Medical Center in the United States.  This large hospital is staffed by more than 2500 personnel.

The Travis Hospitality House, which is located only 2 miles outside the main gate, ministers to this large, diverse military community focusing primarily on the 1000 single Airmen who live in the dorms as well as young military families.  Relationships are built through participation in various Chapel ministries, especially the Peak Internet Cafe', located adjacent to the dorms and operated by the Hospitality House.

The major focus of the Hospitality House ministry is Gospel presentation through strategic evangelism and life-on-life discipleship.  Bible studies are offered throughout the week.  We work alongside Chaplains and maintain an open-door, home-away-from-home style of ministry in an effort to reach many for Christ.

"We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ" (Col. 1:28).
